This Website is operated by DRM Scholars, LLC, a limited liability company located in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States (“DRM Scholars,” “us,” “we,” or “our”). We provide a space for people to come together to share thoughts, experiences, and discuss the impact books have made in their lives (collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services”). We provide these Services primarily online at https://www.drmscholars.com/. We may provide these Services at local in-person meetup events and author sessions.

(A) DRM Scholars Account

In order to participate in our Services, including purchasing, reserving or cancelling of the Services, you will need to create a DRM Scholars account (the "Account") that will be available through the Website. When creating your Account, you must provide and maintain accurate and complete information and you will be asked to choose a password. You will be required to provide your credit card information when creating your Account, which we will store for your future purchases. 

You may update, correct or delete certain Personal Information at any time by logging into your Account through our Website or Mobile Application. If you need assistance, or wish to permanently delete your information please contact us at support@drmscholars.com.

If you wish to deactivate your account, please contact us at support@drmscholars.com. We may decline requests that are prohibited by law, could adversely affect the privacy or other rights of another person, where we are unable to authenticate you as the person to whom the Personal Information relates, or are not required to be honored by applicable law.

(B) Mobile Push Notifications

We may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device. You may opt out of receiving these push notifications by contacting us at support@drmscholars.com.

10. Payment Information

Although our Services include purchases through our Website, such transactions are done through third-party platforms available on our Website. Through these third-party platforms, both DRM Scholars and the third party collect and store your payment information, including your debit or credit card details, billing address, email address, and telephone number. We strongly recommend reviewing any third party’s privacy policy to confirm exactly how those third parties collect and store your Personal Information.

11. Minors and COPPA Compliance

The Services provided through our Website and Mobile Application are only available for adults 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may use our Website and Mobile Application only through a parent or guardian. In cases where you - a parent or guardian - have authorized a minor under 18 to use our Website or Mobile Application, you recognize that you are fully responsible for: (i) the online conduct of such minor; (ii) controlling the minor's access to and use of our Website; and (iii) the consequences of any misuse by the minor.
